I'll Be
by Nancy Ness
What do I think?
What'll I say?
Thoughts on the brink
Of fleeing away.
Words in my mind
Floating about ~
Thoughts too confined
Stand up and shout!
Tell them all now ~
They're listening still.
They may not care now,
But hear me they will.
Who cares of the rest's
Opinions of me?
My plan's the best
I'll be what
I'll be!
A simile is as easy as pie, but a
metaphor is a piece of cake!
