KoKo and Strupi
by Velma M. Carlson

Two little brown poodles, Koko and Struppi
Always running around, but not a bit
Snoopy
Mother and son, they stay close
Together
And cuddle when sleeping – no trouble
Whatever
Koko is old now, she can’t hear nor
See
But she appears real happy and as cute
As scan be.
They get lots of attention – love to ride
In the car
And they do very well – no matter how
Far

Struppi loves his master, it’s plain
To see
And wherever Len goes, that’s where he
Will be.
They mind very well, and come when
Called
No fuss, no bother, no trouble at all.
Koko loves her mistress, always sits on
Her lap
And just to be loved is all t hat she asks
She sleeps a lot now, snuggles tight
In her arms
Where she feels protected from any
Harm
Tw
o little brown poodles so loyal
And true
Want only one favor – “To be loved by you”.

A simile is as easy as pie, but a metaphor is a piece of cake!
