Serenades

Trill, the Silk-tailed Warbler sings
Serenades from lofty wings.
Erudite, astute and wise,
Sees through perspicacious eyes.

Debonair and jovial,
Winsome plumes adorn his soul.
Gilded bevies entreat love;
Thither nestles his fair dove.

A simile is as easy as pie, but a metaphor is a piece of cake!
