- Morsels - Holidays
Peace, Joy, and Love
by Nancy Ness
Bequeathed to all on Christmas Day
God’s wisdom from Above;
His gift, that all the world be blessed
With joy and peace and love.
His Word shall ever be professed
From manger where He lay
About the world as wafting dove
Thence scripture for today.
Our hope to heed the sapience of
His gifts of pure noblesse.
This holiday for you I pray
Peace, Love, and Happiness
A simile is as easy as pie, but a
metaphor is a piece of cake!
